The Punta Lobos . . . a Drop Through board similar to the 9 Star but made from Bamboo. It’s longer than the 9 Star and allows for more drown out tuns, but still has that low to the ground feel of a Drop-Through board. The wide 74mm Nineballs allow it to grip in and out of hard turns while letting it slide with control when necessary. This year we adjusted the shape to give the areas around the drop through more strength.

When comparing with boards on other websites or in stores make sure that all the components are the same. Many trucks, wheels and bearings that are used by websites offering 'cheaper' Sector 9 completes are not as good as the stock Sector 9 components we offer. By using cheaper parts the boards on other websites are not as good as ours and will definitely not ride as well. Don't make a mistake that will leave you with an inferior longboard. Cheap components do not perform well and will leave you unhappy with your 'bargain' board.
Our boards come fully assembled directly from Sector 9 with better parts which may cost a little bit more, but will be faster, turn better, be safer and be way more fun to ride.
